For 'Douglows' and 'Dunnhumby' I repaired and restored an old fiberglass model of the Starship Enterprise from the original Star Trek series.  The original source/purpose of the model is unknown, and had been in a state of disrepair for many years. The nacelle supports had snapped and been lost so these were reconstructed from hard wood and fiberglass.  A special rig was built to hold all the component parts of the ship in the correct position until they could be secured.  The original sculpted panel lines were filled in and re drawn with pencil - the same technique as used on the studio miniature.  Although the model was inaccurate in it's shape, I did as much as I could to capture the look of the original studio miniature. The completed model now hangs from the ceiling of Dunnhumby's offices in London.
