VISUAL EFFECTS & MODELMAKING
I am a professional model maker and visual effects artist, originally from Scotland and now based in London.

Fascinated by visual effects from a young age, I began by using models I had built to film my own special effects shots in my parent's garage and back garden. Today, I still believe in using these practical and traditional techniques wherever possible.

My experience includes supervising the miniature effects for Jamie Stone's Bafta nominated Sci-Fi Orbit Ever After, and working on several projects for Leigh Took at 'Mattes and Miniatures', including George Clooney's WW2 feature The Monuments Men.
Most recently I have been producing and supervising VFX for a short film called Turning Tide with director Andrew Muir. For this we have created a dynamic World War Two dogfight using a combination of traditional miniatures, CGI and digital compositing. The project has allowed me to bring together, and build on, everything I have learned over the last 10 years.
I am always looking for new challenges and opportunities to create high quality models and visual effects work.
If you have any questions about my work – past, present or future – or even to chat about visual effects in general, please do get in touch! I'd love to hear from you.
